We opened our doors in 2005 with the goal of providing a high standard of accommodation and service to our guests. Boasting one of the best views of any hotel on the lake, Lomas de Tzununá is a perfect base to explore all that Lake Atitlán has to offer. We hope to make your stay truly unforgettable.

Treading lightly on a fragile lake
Lake Atitlán is a fragile eco-system that asks everyone who lives here and visits to tread lightly. We reduce our impact by using renewable energy and producing what food we can from the resources around us — solar panels powering our water pumps from the lake, an on-site chicken coop, a healthy herb garden that supplies the restaurant, and permaculture practices throughout.
The hotel is our best excuse for social work
Having worked for over 20 years in development, we continue to provide support where we can. In 2007 a group of parents asked us to help build a library for the local children. That has grown into a project to build a community centre — and, with the generosity of some of our guests, we're now working to improve literacy and increase opportunity for learning and earning.
